AI Website Editor

Most site editors ask you to learn their model of the page. BYOB lets you work from the page itself: click the section that is wrong, say what should change, and the editor updates the real project behind the preview.

Live workspace

Code, chat, and preview in one place.

The workspace is built for repeated product work, not disposable demos. Every generated file stays inspectable, every change is visible, and every follow-up can target the exact part of the app you care about.

01 · EDITOR

Generated code, ready to edit.

Every file BYOB writes stays visible and editable. Follow-ups target the exact lines you care about instead of regenerating from scratch.

Prompt to app

From first prompt to a workspace you can ship.

Start conversationally, approve the shape, let Tool Mode implement, then refine and deploy from the same workspace.

  1. 01 Describe the product Start with the outcome, audience, and any constraints. BYOB turns the idea into a practical build plan.
  2. 02 Shape the UX Review the proposed flows, screens, data needs, and visual direction before code starts moving.
  3. 03 Generate the app Tool Mode writes SvelteKit code, connects integrations, and keeps each change visible in preview.
  4. 04 Test and refine Ask for edits, roll back when needed, run checks, and keep the project editable instead of disposable.
  5. 05 Deploy Ship the finished app, connect domains, and keep iterating from the same workspace.

Agent and backend

Code with your agent, ship with a real backend.

Connect Codex, Claude Code, or Antigravity to your project, then store data and ship to production without leaving the workspace.

Built for shipping

The parts that usually slow you down are already here.

BYOB handles product planning, implementation, preview, testing, database work, and deployment from one focused interface, with coding-agent access and production analytics when you want to keep working from your own terminal.

This part is hands-on. The cards drift until you touch them. Drag to rearrange, or press and hold one to feel it push back.

Agent integrations

Give Codex, Claude Code, or Antigravity scoped access through BYOB CLI or Agent MCP. Your agent reads context, edits code, tests previews, and deploys from your terminal.

Git history and diffs

Every change lands as a commit. Inspect history, compare diffs, and see exactly what changed since the last deploy.

Inbox in every project

Every project ships with an inbox. Collect messages, leads, and feedback from your app without wiring a third party.

Email sending built in

Send magic links, OTP codes, and transactional mail from your own sender address. Resend-backed, no SMTP setup.

Google and magic-link login

Offer Continue with Google plus passwordless email codes. Sessions and callbacks are handled.

Custom domains and SSL

Point your domain at BYOB with guided DNS checks. Certificates are automatic.

Visual editing

Click any element in the live preview and describe the change. Copy, spacing, color, behavior.

AI testing agent

Run full-site or feature checks and get implementation-level feedback you can apply in one step.

Version rollback

Step between saved states or redeploy a known commit when an experiment goes sideways.

One-click deploy

Builds publish to production hosting in one step. Deploys can auto-save the project state first.

Deployment analytics

Worker traffic, errors, CPU timing, subrequests, and custom-domain status from the workspace.

Supabase aware

Connect Supabase and BYOB reads schemas, drafts migrations, and generates types that match your app.

Team collaboration

Invite people in and keep sessions coordinated so work never overwrites work.

The BYOB AI website editor combines click-to-select visual editing with prompt-driven code changes. Choose an element in the live preview, describe the edit in plain language, and the AI updates the underlying code, recording each change in version history so you can roll back.

Select, describe, apply

Hover over the live preview and the editor highlights the block under the cursor. Click to select it, then type an instruction such as 'make this heading smaller and left-aligned' or 'swap the button label'. The preview refreshes in place, so you judge the result instead of imagining it. There is no class list to hunt through and no page-tree to navigate.

Built on diffs, not a hidden canvas

Visual editors often store your changes in a format only they can render. BYOB takes the opposite approach: every edit becomes a change to the source, visible in the code editor and the project history. Designers can work visually while developers review the same commits, which removes the usual handoff gap between design and production. It also means an edit made through the visual toolbar and one made by hand end up in the same place, so the project never splits into a designer version and a developer version that have to be reconciled later.

Safe iteration with rollback

Editing is only relaxing when mistakes are reversible. Because each change is versioned, an experiment that makes the page worse is one click from being undone. Try a bolder layout on a quiet Tuesday, compare it against the previous version, and keep whichever performs better without maintaining two branches by hand. The same history lets a teammate see exactly what changed and why, which turns a vague request like 'the homepage feels off' into a concrete diff that can be reviewed, discussed and accepted.

Editing the words, not just the look

The same prompt workflow handles copy. Ask for a shorter headline, a friendlier tone, or three alternative calls to action and compare them on the page. Because the text lives in the components rather than a separate CMS field, what you see in the preview is exactly what publishes. There is no sync step and no chance of publishing a stale draft. You can rewrite a paragraph, tighten a form label or correct a typo in seconds, then move straight on to the next section without leaving the editor or waiting for a build.

Works on sites and applications

The editor is not limited to marketing pages. The same selection and prompt controls adjust app screens, including components bound to data fields, so a dashboard card or a settings form can be refined without opening an IDE. When an edit needs logic rather than styling, switch to the code editor and continue there. Keeping visual and code editing in one workspace means small changes stay quick, and the people doing them do not need to rebuild the app or hand it off just to move a button or rename a column.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I edit without touching code?

Yes. Selection and prompts cover layout, copy, colour and spacing; the code is there only if you want deeper changes.

Will my edits be saved?

Every change is committed to project history, so you can review it or roll back to any earlier version.

Can I edit an existing site?

If the project runs in BYOB, yes. You can also bring a static site in and edit it as a generated project.

Does the editor work on mobile screens?

The preview can be resized to mobile widths so you can check and adjust responsive behaviour in the same view.
